MANILA, May 7 - - Category 3 tropical storm is predicted to hit Philippines today (Saturday/May 7) at about 18:00 GMT. The storm is likely to bring 1-minute maximum sustained winds to the region of around 83 km/h (51 mph).Wind draughts in the area may be significantly intense.
Data issued by the US Navy and Air Force Joint Typhoon Warning Centre; forecasts that the point of land fall will be near14.1 N, 124.9 E.
