DUNEDIN, New Zealand – The Nude Blacks (men), Dunedin’s rugby side, took on Spanish Senoritas (women) (aka Spanish Conquistadores) in a strip rugby match at Dunedin Rugby Club, Kettle Park on September 10, 2011 in Dunedin, New Zealand.

Spanish Senoritas got the chance to play against the Nude Blacks after winning a video-based competition in this unofficial Rugby World Cup match.

 The rules were simple… every time the boys scored the Senoritas would put a piece of clothing on. Every time the Senoritas scored a try, they took a piece of clothing off.

CID Police Arrested 11 Terrorists in a Raid on a Hotel Near Lahore Railway Station

LAHORE, Pakistan (Sept. 10) – In a full forced raid, what would be a great achievement by law enforcement agencies, police have reportedly arrested 11 suspected terrorists from a local hotel near Lahore Railway Station.

The raid was conducted by Central Investigation Department (CID) of Punjab police on late Friday night. More than 50 policemen and officials of CID took part in this successful raid which ended up with the arrest of 11 terrorists, including four wanted extremists.

The arrested culprits included four notorious terrorists wanted by security agencies in various incidents of terrorism across the country, police sources said.

Later on, the arrested terrorists have been transferred to unidentified location for further investigation. Important revelations are expected as a result of thorough investigations by security agencies.

Russian national, Andrei Mikhailov, held at Faisal chowk (Lahore) in suspicion of spying

LAHORE, Pakistan (Sept. 10) – A Russian national was reportedly detained by Police as soon as he arrived from Peshawar on Thursday due to his suspicious appearance. But later on he was released after getting proofs that he was merely a harmless tourist.

According to details; the 40-year-old Andrei Mikhailov was wearing a local dress, shalwar kameez, having a beard and taking photographs of the building of Punjab Assembly which made him suspected and Civil Lines police held him at Faisal Chowk (Square).  

Later on; Amanullah, a Waris Road resident and the host of Russian Mikhailov, came to police and showed the passport of his Russian friend who was supposed to meet him at Lahore zoo. Thereafter, police released Mikhailov after verification of his passport and valid visa stamp.  

Amanullah later on told that he knew Mikhailov from couchsurfer.com, a website which facilitates low-cost travel by bringing together prospective tourists and hosts willing to put them up for free. “He was in Peshawar for a month as well with people he met through the web site,” he said.

Violent Protesters Attacked Israeli Embassy Building in Cairo, Egypt

CAIRO, Egypt – At least 163 people were reported as injured when apparently calm protesters in Cairo's Tahrir Square turned into a violent crowd that attacked on the Israeli Embassy on Friday (September 09).

Reportedly, thousands of protesters who gathered to object to military rule in Egypt went on to attack the perimeter of Israel's diplomatic presence in their country.

The 21-storey residential building attacked by protesters was just about 3 Km away from Tahrir Square. A recently built 12-foot concrete wall, built last week to protect the embassy, was knocked down by the violent mob. At least two protesters scale the front of the building to pull down the Israeli flag hanging from the 20th floor, a repeat performance from last month.

Protesters also clashed with police and set fire to a police truck outside the embassy. Crowds tried to attack a nearby police station but were turned back by the military.

Faisalabad: Bacterial Disease, Necrotic Enteritis, Increasing in Poultry Production

FAISALABAD, Pakistan (Sept. 10) – A recent research study revealed that wide-ranging protective methods needs to be implemented by poultry farmers to control a bacterial disease of intestinal tract among chicken that ended up in a sudden death of infected birds.

The study was conducted by poultry experts Dr Sajid Umar of the Department of Pathology, University if Veterinary and Animal Sciences and Dr Arif Mahmood, Technical Manager Sadaat International. 

The study further discloses that the disease, called Necrotic Enteritis, is mostly common in broiler that can be proved dangerously fatal if left untreated. The fatality rate can touch as high as 10 percent or even more in severe cases.

At the end research suggests the possible treatment as a number of antibiotics mixed with drinking water may be helpful in curing the disease.

Reportedly, police cops assembled people, claimed to be suspects having links with mafia, in bazaar and beat and kicked them unlawfully. Police abused innocent public just to hide their failure of operation against drug mafia and drug peddlers in suspected areas, eyewitnesses said.

After airing the news on TV channel, CCPO suspended all the cops involved in this inhumane act including SHO. CCPO ordered to conduct a thorough inquiry against them in accordance with departmental rules and regulations.

Such kind of incidents are increasing with the growing number of criminal activities in Faisalabad and suburban areas.
