According to SocialBakers, which is run by a Facebook marketing firm Candytech Ltd. of the Czech Republic, Facebook is enjoying an amazing growth in Brazil, Indonesia, the Philippines, Mexico and Argentina and the figure of current active users have crossed whopping 700 million.

According to data collected by SocialBakers, a site that specializes in statistics on the social networking giants, the Facebbok users in Brazil increase by 19 million showing 11% growth. This is a remarkable growth in the wake of the fact that there’s a strong presence of Google-owned social network Orkut in Brazil.

In terms of facebook users, United States is still on the top with 149.4 million users even after experiencing a 4% loss of users in the last month.

Pakistani Journalist Syed Saleem Shahzad Found Dead in Sarai Alamgir after Missing for Two Days

ISLAMABAD, Pakistan (May 31) — Syed Saleem Shahzad, the missing journalist, has been found dead today afternoon near Islamabad. Police sources told that the he was tortured brutally before killing.

According to further details; Slaeem Shahzad was reported missing since last Sunday (May 29); when he vanished mysteriously after leaving his home in Islamabad. He was due to take part in a television talk show, but never reached there. 

The body of the 40-year-old journalist was identified by his family members after being found near his car in Sarai Alamgir, 150 kilometres (93 miles) southeast of Islamabad.

Reportedly, Saleem Shahzad was engaged with an Italian news agency and an online news site registered in Hong Kong. He disappeared two days after publishing an undercover story in Asia Times Online that Al-Qaeda carried out last week's PNS Mehran attack to avenge the detention of naval officials arrested on suspicion of Al Qaeda links.

ISLAMABAD, Pakistan (May 31) – After the death of Hakim Ali Zardari, father of Pakistan’s President Asif Ali Zardari, the leadership of the Zardari Tribe would have been passed to Asif Ali Zaradari; but it would have been Bilawal Bhutto Zardari who will lead the Zardari Tribe in future.

According to latest news Asif Zardari, who is also co-chairperson of Pakistan People’s Party, has decided to give up leadership of Zardari tribe after the death of his father and let it go to his son Bilawal Bhutto Zardari, who happened to be the second Chairperson of PPP.

The latest development came into light after the statement issued by spokesperson of Presidency Farhatullah Babar.

The evolution to new tribal leadership is sanctified in a customary gathering of the tribal elders called "Dastar Bandi" that was held on or soon after the Soyem, the third day of prayers for the departed soul and receiving of the condolences.

However, the ceremony of 'Dastar Bandi' to assign the leadership of tribe formally to Bilawal Bhutto Zardari has been postponed till such time when the overall conditions in the country are more favourable and the holding of such tribal ceremonies do not appear insensitive, Farhatullah Babar told further.

Restriction on Visa Extension for Foreigners Staying More than Six Years in Saudi Arabia

RIYADH, Saudi Arabia – Saudi labour minister Adel Al Faqih announced the decision of government, still under consideration, which will restrict the extension of the visas of expatriates with more than 6-year stay in KSA.

The restriction is to regulate the local labour market, Al Faqih said, a program likely to affect a large number of Pakistanis working in Saudi Arabia. 

Al Faqih further told that companies hiring expatriate workers will be given five months after the implementation of the labour reforms programme to regularise their situation. The reforms, he said, will aim to improve employment opportunities for Saudi nationals and increasing cut-throat competition among them.

But experts say that such labour reforms are the part of safeguarding Saudi Arabia from likely political uprising spread in the neighbouring countries mainly due to unemployment in the local youth and economical crisis.

MEXICO CITY, Mexico (May 30) – The latest archaeological discovery of a tunnel under the ancient temple of Teotihuacan in Mexico could be termed as the most important find of the 21st century. The discovered tunnel had apparently been sealed off about 1,800 years ago.

The underground structure is 15 yards beneath the ground, and it goes eastward. It is about 130 yards long and it ends up with the funeral chambers at the end of the tunnel.

According to further details; researchers of National University discovered the tunnel with the help of a radar device and termed it as “representation of the underworld”.

Experts further said, “At the end, there are several chambers which could hold the remains of the rulers of that Mesoamerican civilization. If confirmed, it will be one of the most important archaeological discoveries of the 21st century on a global scale.”

Breaking News!! - Brutal Firing in School Killed Two Sudents in 72 Gaddian Village Near Faisalabad

FAISALABAD (May 30) – Breaking News: Two students were killed in a deadly firing spree inside a school building in a village near Faisalabad today (Monday/May 30).

Reportedly, two men armed with guns invaded a school building in 72-Gaddian village on Faisalabad-Jarranwala Road and started firing wildly. Two students, 18-year-old Zeshan and 17-year-old Ajmal, fell prey to the brutal firing and died on the spot.

FARIDABAD, India – Crash of a chartered air ambulance killed at least 10 people, including seven on board, on Wednesday (May 25). The aircraft, carrying a critically ill patient, crashed in a thickly occupied area of Faridabad. 

The aircraft crashed on two houses in Parvatia locality near Sector 22 of Faridabad town due to bad weather, just minutes before landing here, police and aviation officials said. 

The dead included three residents of the house into which the plane crashed into, along with seven passengers that included a doctor from Kashmir.

Pakistan 'A' to Take on Afghanistan in Last ODI Today at Faisalabad

Passenger bus fell into Neelum River killed 35 with one lucky escape

Muzaffarabad, Azad Kashmir – At least 35 peoples were reported dead as a passengers bus fell into Neelum River in Muzaffarabad, Azad Kashmir (Pakistan). 

According to details; the bus was near village of Changan in the Neelum valley, some 80 miles northeast of Muzaffarabad, the capital of Pakistani Kashmir. The bus was stopped to give way to herd of goats passing on the road; but the driver stopped the bus dangerously near the edge of the road and couldn’t control it from felling 300 meter deep Neelum River.

Rescue operations are underway; but there’s no hope of finding anyone alive on the remains of the bus. The bus conductor is the only lucky person to survive the accident as he was trying to keep the goats away from the road when bus fell into the river.

KARACHI, Pakistan (May 27) – Breaking News: According to Private TV Channel, Duniya News, the identity of five terrorists has been disclosed who were arrested in PNS Mehran operation on May 22/23.

Reportedly; ten terrorists were captured, after commando operation at PNS Mehran, who were later shifted to Islamabad. According to sources; three of them, who were wounded, shifted on Monday (May 23) and five were shifted later on Wednesday (May 25).

MUMBAI, India (May 27) – A stranded leopard seen in actress-turned-politician Hema Malini’s home on Friday morning and vanished suddenly after creating fear in the vicinity.

Reportedly, the leopard was spotted by security guards inside the bungalow boundaries in Malad around 7.30 a.m. The people from the locality contacted the forest department for help, said Chief Conservator of Forests (Thane Circle) S.A. Thorat.

Once Bollywood dream girl Hema Milini was not at home when the incident took place; but the S.A. Thorat assured people that leopard does not usually attack humans unless irritated or it is frightened. It generally runs after small prey like dogs and pigs, and can travel long distances of 30-50 km in a single night.

LONDON (May 27) — The dead body of a Canadian woman, recognized as Angela Hoyt, was found in her apartment in north London after her relatives in Canada called the authorities when they couldn’t touch her for quite sometime. 

 The 34-year-old Angela Hoyt was working with Red Cross as communication adviser and reportedly returned back from Pakistan just few days back. 

British police is searching for Martin Collett, who is believed to be ex-boyfriend of Angela Hoyt. Police also seek help from public to find out Martin Collett. 

Angela Hoyt, who was originally from Windsor, Ont., moved to the United Kingdom at the age of 19 and studied journalism at the University of Wales before pursuing a career in media and communications.

Police sources call the incident a "tragic case" involving people who knew each other very well.

Det. Chief Inspector Mark Ross of the Bedfordshire and Hertfordshire counties' major crime unit said, "My team is making a number of inquiries across the country to trace Martin as a matter of urgency but I would like to reassure members of the public that we do not believe he is a threat to anyone."

Ratko Mladic, Serbian War Crime Suspect, in Court After 16-year Hunt

BELGRADE, Serbia – Ratko Mladic is an ethnic Serb military leader and accused war criminal. 

On July 24, 1995, Mladic was indicted by the International Criminal Tribunal for the Former Yugoslavia and accused of genocide, crimes against humanity, and numerous war crimes (including crimes relating to the alleged sniping campaign against civilians in Sarajevo). 

Mladic was vanished from the scene in July 1995 after further expansion of the war crimes list and after as long as 16 years of hunting the most wanted person of Europe, Ratko Mladic, was detained in the wee hours of Thursday (May 26, 2011) in a village located in northern Serbia. Mladic appeared in Belgrade’s Serbian war crimes court first time later on Thursday.

Immediately after his appearance in the court he claimed to be sick and questions rose over whether the 69-year-old Ratko Mladic was fit to stand trial.
The hearing was stopped when Mladic’s lawyer Milos Saljic pointed out that Mladic is unable to communicate. Talking to media he said, “The investigative judge tried to question Ratko Mladic but he failed because he (Mladic) is in a difficult psychological and physical condition.”

Ratko Mladic had to undergo medical assessments and doctors would report on Friday as to whether he is able to appear in court, Saljic further told media-men.

 Reportedly, a blackmailing group headed by two suspects, named as Nasir and Omar, is behind this scandal. The group is not only involved in making and selling the sex tapes of female students but girls were also forced to do illegitimate business.




 According to reports; few girls were frequently seen going out of university campus in security department vehicle in the evening and coming back late night; which shows the involvement of security department. Therefore, security officer/in-charge Dr Farooq and three security staff has been suspended immediately by University Administration and the investigation committee has started probing into the issue. 

 The scandal surface in the absence of Vice Chancellor Dr Iqrar, who is on official tour out of Pakistan; but talking to media on the phone he vowed a thorough investigation and strict action against the culprits.

 HANGU, Khyber Pakhtunkhwa (Pakistan) – Breaking News Updates: The death toll reaches 29 and more than 45 are injured in the Hangu suicide attack. 

Reported earlier as ... A Suicide blast has been reported near Hangu District court.

Authorities have confirmed that eight people were killed in this suicide blast reported in a hotel near DCO Office.

The blast was so powerful that window glasses of building in the vicinity were broken by the thrust.

Gangs' Gun Battle Left 28 Dead and 700 Escaped in Western Mexico

MEXICO CITY, Mexico – Reportedly, at least 28 were dead during a gun battle between two drug gangs on the highway in the western states of Nayarit and Michoacan (western Mexico).

The brutal fighting and crossfire forced more than 700 people to escape from nearby villages in search of shelter from stranded bullets.

When police reached the fighting scene they just found 28 men lying dead and four others injured on the road with bullet casings everywhere and 10 abandoned vehicles.

No further details were provided in the statement released late Wednesday by the attorney general's office.

JOPLIN, Missouri – The body 16-months-old boy was found and identified at an area morgue Wednesday evening.

Reportedly, Skyular Logsdon was torn from his mother's arms by the storm on Sunday in Joplin. The incident caught the media attention like the jungle fire; but the searching efforts by the family members of the boy went in vain.

His relatives spent days searching hospitals, shelters and a temporary morgue at Missouri Southern State University. They also dug through remains near the destroyed home, seeking any sign of the boy.

Skyular's body was found at a morgue that his family hadn't previously searched. The little boy's great-uncle made the identification.

The popping up of rumours, speculations, stories and fact has been flashing-out since Arnie and Maria Shriver made their separation public. Media has been chasing them and digging out the facts and realities about the split-couple and Arnie’s out-of-wedlock child. 

It was reported earlier that Arnold Schwarzenegger's lovechild is 13 and the boy's mother has been identified on Wednesday as former housekeeper Mildred Patricia Baena, who retired in January after 20 years working for the family.

The latest news popped up that Arnold Schwarzenegger’s former maid secretly had the DNA of her secret lover and his son tested to prove paternity beyond the shadow of a doubt.
