Ahmadinejad in Egypt on historic visit, President Morsi welcomed him on Cairo airport

CAIRO, Egypt (Tue, Feb. 05) – Egypt's Islamist President Mohammed Morsi welcomed Iranian President Mahmud Ahmadinejad at the Cairo International airport on Tuesday.

Ahmedinejad in Egypt on historic visit, President Morsi welcomed him on Cairo airport

This is undoubtedly a historical visit by any Iranian State head since Iran’s Islamic revolution in 19779, which shows the more open ties that have developed since Egyptians elected an Islamist head of state.

Egyptian President Mohammed Morsi kissed his Iranian counterpart as he got off from his plane at Cairo airport, footage broadcast by Egyptian state television showed.

Since the early 2011 revolution that deposed longtime Egyptian ruler Hosni Mubarak, Iran has taken significant steps to recover its relations with Egypt. And now Ahmadinejad is leading the Iranian delegation to the Cairo summit of the Organization of Islamic Cooperation, which begins February 6, which will show the world that two regional powers are coming close.

According to AP News; security officials, on condition of anonymity, say Iranian President has also plans to visit the pyramids in Giza.

Iran can't be trusted over nuclear program: Bill Clinton says in CNN’s “Piers Morgan Tonight”

Iran can't be trusted over nuclear program: Bill Clinton says in CNN’s “Piers Morgan Tonight”
Clinton further urged the world to pressurize Iran to allow UN inspectors to verify the assertions made by Mahmoud Ahmadinejad during his U.N. General Assembly address.
Talking to CNN's Piers Morgan, Clinton said, "What they are really saying is, in spite of the fact that we deny the Holocaust, that we threaten Israel, and we demonize the Unite States, and we do all this stuff, we want you to trust us. They don't have a tenable position."
If Iran gets nukes, "the retaliation would be incomprehensible," and other nations in the region would run to join nuclear power club, Clinton told further.

Obama Adresses UN General Assembly (Video): Warns Iran on Nukes

NEW YORK (Wed, Sep 26) - U.S. President Barack Obama yet again cleared U.S. stance over Iran's nukes on Tuesday saying that his country will do anything possible to prevent Iran being a nuclear power as nuclear-armed Iran would be dangerous for Israel, ignite a regional arms race and destabilize the global economy.

Obama Adresses UN General Assembly: Warns Iran on Nukes

Obama was adressing in the annual meeting of United Nations Gerneral Assembly. He pledged in a speech to world leaders yesterday that the U.S. will do what it takes to prevent Iran from building a nuclear weapon and warned that time for a diplomatic resolution “is not unlimited.”

“Make no mistake: A nuclear-armed Iran is not a challenge that can be contained and the United States will do what we must to prevent Iran from obtaining a nuclear weapon,” said Obama, , who seeks re-election on November 6, during his half-an-hour adress to 193-member UN General Assembly.

During his speech Obama also called anew for the ouster of Syrian President Bashar al-Assad following an 18-month civil war without saying how to make it happen. He also offered no fresh ideas on solving the Israeli-Palestinian conflict.

No war yet on Iran: Barack Obama -- I'll never let Israel live under danger of extinction: Netanyahu at AIPAC

WASHINGTON — With Israel warning of a possible military strike on Iran’s nuclear facilities, President Obama urged Benjamin Netanyahu at the White House on Monday to give mediation and economic sanctions a chance to work before deciding a military action.

I'll never let Israel live under danger of extinction: Netanyahu at AIPAC
According to sources close to the talks; Israeli Prime Minister Benjamin Netanyahu assured President Barack Obama that Israel has not made any decision on attacking Iran's nuclear sites, but the Israeli he gave no sign of stepping back from possible military action.

Talking in the AIPAC (American Israel Public Affairs Committee) Convention in Washington Monday night Israeli premier Netanyahu warned against allowing Iran to develop nuclear weapons, firming to never let his nation and country live under the shadow of extinction or gamble with its security.

And Netanyahu made clear that Israel was prepared to defend itself even without U.S. involvement, though he praised President Barack Obama for fresh promises of support.

“Israel must always have the ability to defend itself — by itself — against any threats,” Netanyahu said further addressing AIPAC. “My friends, we deeply appreciate the great alliance between our two countries, but when it comes to Israel’s survival, we must always remain the masters of our fate.”

Israel-Iran Confrontation: How Netanyahu's Canadian visit will affect Washington and Middle East..??

OTTAWA, Canada (Fri, Mar. 02) – Keeping in view the nuclear perspective of both nations; Iran-Israel confrontation in Middle East could lead to a disaster for the whole world and this is nothing hidden that Israel is running short of their popularity with Obama and his administration.

Israel-Iran Confrontation: How Netanyahu's Canadian visit will affect Washington and Middle East..??

The above-mentioned fact has forced Israel to look for some new friends in the region not only to support them against Iran but to have some weight when it will present their case to their old ally United States.

Israeli Prime Minister Benjamin Netanyahu reaches Ottawa Friday (March 02), hoping to look for Canada’s support for any future actions against Iran before he forwards to Washington on Sunday, where he is scheduled to meet with U.S. President barrack Obama on Monday (March 05).

Canadian Prime Minister Stephen J. Harper has shown a very pro-Netanyahu stance in the past few weeks, which has certainly enticed Mr. Netanyahu to reroute his visit to Washington via Canada.

Not only Mr. Harper but other Canadian officials have been reiterating the country as Israel’s “best friend,” at a time when President Obama and his administration have stepped back a bit from Israel and Mr. Netanyahu, who will certainly use freshly committed Canadian support to have better influence in the upcoming meeting with U.S. President.

Moreover, Canadian Prime Minister’s statement last month about Iran’s “dangerous” development of a nuclear weapons program may also attracted Mr. Netanyahu to request Canada’s support for “initiating war” against Iran, something which they wouldn’t expect from the Obama administration at present point of time.

Iran reiterates to punish those behind the killing of nuclear scientist Mostafa Ahmadi Roshan

TEHRAN, Iran (Jan. 14) – Iran want to punish those who allegedly plotted the assassination of their nuclear scientist, Mostafa Ahmadi Roshan - killed along with his driver on Wednesday when two motor-bikers fixed a magnetic bomb to his car.

Iran reiterates to punish those behind the killing of nuclear scientist Mostafa Ahmadi Roshan
Several media reports quoted the deputy chief of Iran's joint armed forces, Masoud Jazayeri, as saying, “We consider committing a terrorist act of killing a scientist to be a threat to the nation... We are looking at punishing those who were behind the scenes of the martyrdom (assassination) of Mostafa Ahmadi Roshan.”

Iran clearly named their enemies and finger is pointed towards Israel, Britain and United States.

“The enemies of the Iranian nation, such as the United States, Britain and the Zionist regime, should be made accountable for their actions,” Jazayeri added further.

The assassination of Mustafa Ahmadi Roshan on Wednesday (January 10) was the latest in a series of strikes on scientists who are linked to the Iran's nuclear program, which Israel, U.S. and other Western nations are truly trying to halt.

The 32-year-old Mustafa Ahmadi Roshan was the fourth attack to kill a leading nuclear scientist in the country in almost two years.

Iran's supreme leader, Ayatollah Ali Khamenei, said on Thursday that the horrible killing was executed "with the planning or support of the intelligence services of the CIA and Mossad" of the United States and Israel.

Washington has strongly denied any involvement with the assassination.

Israel, widely seen as the prime suspect, has neither denied nor confirmed involvement, in line with its policy of not commenting on intelligence matters.

Tehran has formally demanded that the UN Security Council condemn the "terrorist" killing.

Covert war on Iran: Israel behind the latest killing of Iran's nuclear scientist Mustafa Ahmadi Roshan

TEHRAN, Iran (Jan. 10) - The assassination of Iranian nuclear scientist Mustafa Ahmadi Roshan today (Wednesday, January 10) was the latest in a series of strikes on scientists who are linked to the Iran's nuclear program, which Israel, U.S. and other Western nations are dreadfully trying to stop.

Scientists' killing, cyber attacks and bombing - All part of covert war on Iran
Today’s killing of Mustafa Ahmadi Roshan was the fourth attack to kill a leading nuclear scientist in the country in almost two years.

Reportedly, two persons on a motorcycle fixed magnetic explosive devices to the vehicle of an Iranian university professor working at a key nuclear facility, killing him and another person yesterday, state TV reported. The assassination suggested an extending covert attack to halt Iran's nuclear programme.

According to Iranian media reports, the incident, which took place at the Seyed Khandan neighborhood in northern Tehran, "looks similar to attacks on nuclear scientists in the city," more than one year ago.

Iran has claimed that Israel's Mossad, the CIA and Britain's spy agency are involved in an covert "terrorism" operation against nuclear-related targets, including at least three assassinations since early 2010 and the cyberspace attacks in form of computer viruses known at Stuxnet in 2010 and Duqu in 2011 that upset controls of some centrifuges - a key component in nuclear fuel production.

Israeli officials have hinted about secret campaigns against Iran without directly admitting involvement.

American blogger Richard Silverstein claimed that a senior Israeli source "with great political and military experience" told him that the Mossad carried out the recent strike with the help of Iranian opposition group the People's Mujahedin of Iran (PMOI).

Amir Mirzaei Hekmati - Alleged CIA Spy to Appeal within 20 Days against His Death Sentence (Confession Video)

TEHRAN, Iran (Jan. 10) – Amir Mirzaie Hekmati, a former United States marine who was convicted of spying on Iran and sentenced to death on Monday (Jan. 09), has 20 days to appeal his death sentence, according to Iranian law ministry.

Amir Mirzaei Hekmati - Alleged CIA Spy Caught in Iran Sentenced to Death by an Iranian Court
"If the sentence is appealed, then the Court of Appeals will hear the case. If not, then the sentence is final," judiciary spokesman Mohseni Ejeie said, according to the semi-official Iranian Student News Agency. The statement was the first by a judiciary official, regarding the trail and the sentence.

Amir Mirzaei Hekmati was arrested during a visit to Tehran in August last year, allegedly confessed to a career in American intelligence that included a stint at a video game company in New York that was “a cover for the C.I.A.”

Hekmati's family has hired a high-profile lawyer, Pierre Prosper, with success in negotiating with Tehran to seek his release.

"We're prepared to open up a line of communication with the government," attorney Pierre Prosper said. "Our hope is that they will talk with us."

Dennis Ross: Military Option Never Ruled Out to Stop Iran Getting Nukes

WASHINGTON, DC (Jan. 10) – Will U.S. President Barack Obama use military force to stop Iran from acquiring a nuclear weapon if sanctions and diplomacy fail??

Dennis Ross: Military Option Never Ruled Out to Stop Iran Getting Nukes
As reported earlier, Iranian President Mahmoud Ahmadinejad is on official South American visit, apparently to boost the support for Iran in the wake of latest sanctions from U.S. and Europe.

On the other hand, senior UN nuclear inspectors are likely to visit Iran "quite soon" to discuss their growing concerns about possible military aspects to its nuclear programme, an International Atomic Energy Agency official said.

The situation shows that tension is on the rise over Iran's nuclear programme and Europe preparing for an embargo on Iranian oil. In response Tehran threatening to strike back by blocking Gulf oil shipping lanes vital to the global economy.

In the scenario summarized above the recent statement by Dennis Ross, Obama’s former special assistant on Iran, might worsen the situation. According to Bllomberg citing Dennis Ross; Obama has “made it very clear” that he regards a nuclear- armed Iran as so great a threat to international security that “the Iranians should never think that there’s a reluctance to use the force” to stop them.

Ross’s comments came a day after Secretary of Defense Leon Panetta and General Martin Dempsey both made comments saying that the development of a nuclear weapon would cross a red line.

Iranian President's Recent Visit to Venezuela Revamps Stories of Secret Joint Military Bases

CARACAS, Venezuela (Jan. 08) – Iranian President Mahmoud Ahmadinejad started an official South American visit from Venezuela on Sunday. Apparently Ahmadinejad is keen to boost the support for Iran in the wake of latest sanctions from U.S. and Europe and he opted to begin with his all-time ally Hugo Chavez.

Ahmadinejad visit to Venezuela, on the other hand, has once again raised the talks about the secret military relationship between two nations. The ghosts of the story published in German newspaper Die Welt in 2009 started to haunt anti-Iran – or more appropriately anti-nuclear Iran - allies.

According to report published in Die Welt; Iran was building a base in Venezuela to counteract any military attacks against them. Although the story was disapproved by Iran and Venezuela, it continues to surface from time to time.

As the recent tour of Iranian supreme commences it has reignited discussion about a possible (secret) link between the two nations which has often been raised yet never been proved stating that “Iran is building intermediate-range missile launch pads on the ParaguanĆ” Peninsula.”

The Jerusalem Post reported in May 2011 that a covert accord - between the two countries Iran and Venezuela - "would mean the Chavez government would fire rocket at Iran's enemies should the Islamic Republic face military strikes."

According to Business Insider the original Die Welt story was disapproved by CNN journalists in May 2011 when they reported "that both the U.S. and Venezuela said there was no evidence of the missile base's existence."

But its worth to remember that Hugo Chavez does support Iran's decision to develop its nuclear program, and Iran has substantial capital investments in the South American country.
