TIMIKA, Indonesia (September 22, 2011) – Police sources revealed that plane crashed in mountainous area of the remote Indonesian province of Papua on Thursday has killed three on board, including a foreign pilot.

According to details; the plane was on its mission of transport supplies to remote villages for a Christian humanitarian association. The plane crashed at about 0613 GMT near Wamena district leaving dead all three on board.
The nationality of the foreign pilot is still to be established but Association itself has confirmed the death of three.
The cause of the plane crash is yet to be confirmed but most probably the harsh weather conditions might have caused the accident as in recent years few of the air crashes have been reported in Papua due to turbulent weather in this area.
