Funeral Details of Sage Stallone: Westboro Baptist Church plans to picket the funeral

LOS ANGELES, CA (Tue, Jul 17) – The funeral services of the son of Sylvester Stallone are scheduled on Saturday (July 21) and Sage Moonblood Stallone will be laid to rest after a closed-casket ceremony at St. Martin of Tours Catholic Church in Brentwood, California.

Sage was Sylvester Stallone's son to ex-wife Sasha Czack. She has asked for donations to be made to the Autism Speaks charity in lieu of flowers, reports ETonline.com.

The Stallone Family is grieving the loss of the 36-year-old Sage Stallone,who died this past Friday (July 13), but the cause of death is still to be established even after autopsy. A toxicology report is pending and it may take 6-8 weeks that can help finding the cause of Sage’s death, according to media reports.

Sage was found dead in his home in Studio City, Los Angeles, by his housekeeper. Stallone family attorney George Braunstein told press that Sage had planned on getting married as a surprise in Las Vegas this past weekend, but evidently things didn’t work out.

As the details of Sage’s funeral emerge it is also reported in the media that Westboro Baptist Church is to picket the funeral of Sage. Hours after news of the 36-year-old's death emerged, Westboro member Margie Phelps tweeted: "Thrice-married rebel taught his son to mock God. ‪#picketfuneral MT@digitalspy: Sylvester Stallone's son Sage Stallone found dead, aged 36."
