AURORA, Colorado (Fri, Jul 20) – At least 14 dead reported
dead and more than 50 injured in a wild shooting spree at local theatre premier of the latest
movie in Batman series in the U.S. city of Denver, the local police chief says Colorado

According to details; an armed man hiding his face with gas
mask started firing wildly which killed 14 people and wounded 50 others at a
showing of new Batman movie The Dark Knight Rises on Friday
morning in a mall in the suburb of Aurora. The gunmen later on set off a smoke
or tear gas bomb.
Dozens of policemen were at the scene, and the authorities evacuated the area while they checked if there was an explosive device in the area.
CNN reported quoting an eyewitness as saying he saw a "guy slowly making his way up the stairs and firing, picking random people".

Another eyewitness told CNN: “We heard anywhere from 10 to
20 shots and little explosions going on. Shortly after that we heard people
screaming. Then they came on PA system and said everyone needed to get out.”
The suspected gunman was held by police near a car behind the theatre.
“A gas mask, rifle, handgun at least one additional weapon (were) found
inside,” police said.
