TRIPOLI, Libya - As coalition forces are continuing their airstrikes and missile attack on Gaddafi forces in Libya which helped rebels to regain some ground; there are few gloomy incidents coming into light.
Reportedly; Iman (Eman) al-Obeidi, a distressed Libyan woman, had a bad reaction from Libyan government officials when she rushed into the hotel of foreign reporters to tell that government troops raped her.
The woman told that pro-Gaddafi forces arrested her on a checkpoint in Tripoli, the Libyan capital city, and raped her.
In the mean time; a hotel waitress ran to her waving a knife and calling her a traitor; whereas government supporters pushed back reporters who were trying to interfere while the screaming woman was pulled outside the hotel.
Her claim couldn’t be verified from independent sources; but apparently she looked like abused physically because of her bloodied thigh and scarred face.
