RIYADH, Saudi Arabia (Oct. 9) - Saudi Arabia beheaded eight Bangladeshi nationals (migrant workers) in public Friday for the murder of an Egyptian citizen almost four years back, the official Saudi Press Agency reported, citing an Interior Ministry statement.

All of eight beheaded were charged with robbing a warehouse and killing a security guard, Egyptian national Hussein Saeed Mohammed Abdulkhaleq, in April 2007.
Human rights group Amnesty International condemned it and reported that executions have resumed in Saudi Arabia at an alarming rate since the end of the Holy month of Ramadan.
Three other accused in the same case were sentenced jail terms. The names of the executed are Mamun Abdul Mannan, Faruq Jamal, Sumon Miah, Mohammed Sumon, Shafiq al-Islam, Masud Shamsul Haque, Abu al-Hussain Ahmed and Mutir al-Rahman.
