Steve Jobs, Apple’s visionary co-founder, was sent on his last journey reportedly in a private and very short funeral ceremony on Friday.

The Wall Street Journal quoted an unnamed person familiar with the matter. The person described the ceremony as a small private gathering. The person did not reveal where or at what time the event took place, referring privacy for Jobs’ family.
Jobs lost his battle for life, surrounded by his wife and immediate family, Wednesday after a long fight against deadly pancreatic cancer for seven years. He was also gone through a liver transplant in 2009.
Apple has said no public services have been planned as yet for Jobs.
Apple Chief Executive Tim Cook, in a letter to Apple’s employees, said on Wednesday that the company is “planning a celebration of Steve’s extraordinary life” for staff that will take place soon.
