LAHORE, Pakistan (Sat, Mar. 03) – The eleventh edition of Asia Cup Cricket Tournament is scheduled to be kicked off from March 11 and PCB was due to announce their final squad for the tournament today.

As per latest media reports; Misbah-ul-Haq has been retained as captain by Pakistan Cricket Board (PCB) on Saturday as the new selection committee, under Iqbal Qasim, finalized the ODI squad for the upcoming Asia Cup in Bangladesh.
The team is set to reach Dhaka on March 7 to participate in the 4-nation Asia Cup. Defending champions India, Sri Lanka and Bangladesh will be the other contenders in the March 11-22 event.
As expected Shoaib Malik and Imran Farhat were axed from the squad while most of the Pakistan-England series, concluded recently at UAE, were retained for Asia Cup.
A brief training camp will be set up from March 5 and 6.
