Trayvon Martin Case: Black Panther Party seek volunteers to capture George Zimmerman

SANFORD, Florida (Tue, Mar. 27) – Further chaos is expected as a result of latest development in the case of Trayvon Martin killing as a militia of 5,000 black volunteers have been called by The New Black Panther Party for Self-Defense to catch the killer of black youth, George Zimmerman.

Southern Regional Director of the New Black Panther Party, Mikhail Muhammad, said: “It’s time for us as black men to take justice in our own hands because Zimmerman was not a police officer, but just a community volunteer.” Muhammad was talking to media person just outside the neighborhood where 17-year-old Martin was shot dead.

George Zimmerman, the suspected murderer, is currently in hiding after shooting Matin to death, while the black political organization declaring to bring him to justice.

The New Black Panther Party for Self-Defense has already offered a $10,000 reward for any person who will capture Zimmerman ‘dead or alive’. 

The party not only points finger to Zimmerman for the death of Martin, but also of the view that Sanford Police and Prosecutor Angela Corey are equally responsible for the tragic incident.

“She’s a liar and a murderer right along with the rest of them. We aren’t pleased with Angela Cory’s appointment,” Muhammad told Fox News.

“If the government won't do the job, we'll do it,” Muhammad finished with these words.

Sanford city authorities have also came out against the Party’s actions and issued a statement criticizing the group’s demand and are pleading with the citizens to leave the arrest of the suspect(s) to them.
