The assembly members, government as well as opposition leaders, firmly protested the brutal killing of the man outside Shaheed Benazir Bhutto Park in Clifton, Karachi.
The authorities in their earlier statement on Wednesday (June 08) night had claimed that the man was shot dead in an encounter; but the after the video footage aired on different TV channels it was unfolded that Rangers’ personnel killed the boy, recognized later as Sarfaraz Shah, when he was begging for mercy in front of them.
MNA Abdul Qadir Khanzada of MQM said the incident was condemnable while Khwaja Saad Rafiq of PML-N got emotional during his speech on the shocking happenings of Karachi and Kharotabad.
Sheikh Waqas Akram, Minister of State, said those Rangers personnel be shot dead on the same street. Sumsam Bkhari of Pakistan People's Party rejected Interior Minister Rehman Malik's claim that the man was snatching the gun from personnel.
