SPRINGERVILLE, Ariz. – A throat-burning cloud of smoke from a massive wildfire in eastern Arizona is now extending all the way to central New Mexico, prompting health concerns.
New Mexico officials have cautioned the inhabitants of potentially perilous air quality that can lead to potential respiratory problems.
The 672-square-mile fire jumped the state line late Friday and the further forecasts for breezy and unsettled wind conditions are "pretty scary."
