Death Toll Rises to 36 in Adezai (Peshawar Blast) Expected to Rise Further

PESHAWAR – The terror continued to hit parts of the Pakistan with particular reference to Khyber Pakhtunkhwa province as yet another deadly suicide blast in the outskirts of provincial metropolis Peshawar Wednesday morning as reported yesterday. The suicide bomber targeted the funeral prayer (Namaz-e-Janazah) of the wife of Kala Khan (a leader of Anti-Taliban Militia ‘Aman Lashkar’).
  
According to official source of Lady Reading Hospital in Peshawar; the death toll rises to 36, which was reported 15 just after the blast by DCO office, while there are still more than fifty wounded in the hospital. A number of patients in the City’s biggest Lady Reading Hospital were stated to be in unstable condition; which indicates the possible further rise in death toll in the near future.

The heartless terrorists who have been targeting different cities of KP province this time did not even spare the funeral procession and the suicide bomber blew himself up when the last rituals of the of the wife of leader of Peace Committee at village Adezai some twenty kilometers from the City in outskirts of Peshawar were in progress.

It was a second suicide attack within short span of twenty four hours as a deadly blast in the Pakistan’s industrial hub Faisalabad on Tuesday where twenty seven people were killed and more than 130 received critical injuries.

Likewise as many as ten worshipers were killed and around 35 others sustained serious injuries when deadly explosion ripped through a mosque in Nowshera district moments after the Jumma congregation Friday last.
