FAISALABAD – A car bomb exploded, reported earlier, at a CNG station situated near PIA Zonal Office also in front of an Inter-Services Intelligence (ISI) office in Faisalabad, killing at least 26 people and wounding 131 others on Tuesday (March 08).
According to hospital sources, ten dead bodies still couldn’t be identified while six of the wounded are still in critical position in the ICU.
Security forces arrested a suspect ‘Usman’ after the blast when he was trying to flee from the blast area and as per the latest reports two more unnamed suspects have been arrested by police from the different parts of Faisalabad and interrogations are going on.
Rescue operation are finalized and ‘Rescue 1122’ revealed that no further dead body had been recovered from the debris.
