FAISALABAD – Breaking News: A huge blast was heard in Civil line area of Faisalabad; which is one of the most important business area in the city, on Tuesday at 10:10 am PST.
The blast was so powerful that it’s intensity was felt in almost 5-Km area around the point of blast; which is near PIA regional office (opposite Regency Plaza). This area is very sensitive because of different security forces offices located around this area.
Police, security forces and rescue team reached immediately on the place of incident and started their respective tasks. According to recent news; 30 death are confirmed and as many as 125 are injured who are shifted to nearby D.H.Q (Civil) Hospital and Allied Hospital. Emergency is declared in both of the major hospitals of the area and district government has appealed to public for blood donations as the increasing number of injured are getting serious with the passage of time.
The initial reports suggest an explosive-laden vehicle was blown up with a remote controlled device. The intensity of the blast is estimated by the 12 feet deep pit caused by the blast.
