JAKARTA, Indonesia (Nov. 27) – The search operation for almost 40 missing people is still underway after a bridge collapsed in Kutai Kartanegara district (central Indonesia) Saturday (Nov. 26) killing at least four and injuring more than 20 people.

The 720 meters (about 770 yards) long bridge - built to resemble San Francisco's Golden Gate Bridge – collapsed sending two buses, cars and motorcycles crashing into a Mahakam River underneath.
According to officials sources; 39 people have been rescued, including more than 20 who were still hospitalized. The dead include a 6-month-old baby.

The bridge was reportedly built in 2002 over the Mahakam River, the longest in East Kalimantan, and linked the towns of Tenggarong and Tenggarong Seberang in the province.
