PHOENIX – A small twin-engine plane crashed near a remote summit in the Superstition Mountains called Flat Iron east of Phoenix on Wednesday, officials said. All six people on board are believed to be dead as the plane broke apart with a bang on ground.

Live footage on local 12 News showed a fire scorching in a murky background; suggested that there’s no chance of any survivors and the fact confirmed by Elias Johnson, a spokesperson for the Pinal County Sheriff's Office.
Johnson further told that a helicopter has dropped an officer of the Arizona Department of Public Safety around the plane crash area to judge the location, and a search and rescue team, comprises of 12 members, have been sent to the site. It will require about 6-our hike to reach the crash site.
According to details; the crashed plane was a Rockwell AC69 that took off from Falcon Field, in the Phoenix valley. The plane was registered to Safford, Arizona-based Ponderosa Aviation, which is an air charter firm.
