The death news of Mick Hucknall is proved to be another celebrity death hoax originated from Global Associated News and spread through Twitter.
The website Global Associated News has been accused in the past of creating celebrities death hoaxes including Jeff Goldblum, Adam Sandler, Owen Wilson and Will Smith's son Jaden Smith. All are still alive.
The Global Associated News told the following storyline:
Mick Hucknall, musician and lead singer of Simply Red, is reportedly killed in a Jet-Ski crash in Turks and Caicos Islands.
According to immediately available details; Hucknall was on personal vacation in the Island when during Jet-Skiing he struck a solid boat slip in a harbor on Parrot Cay in the Turks and Caicos Islands. He sustained fatal injuries which ultimately lead to his death.
Hucknall was the only passenger on the personal watercraft at the time of the accident, according to police sources. The accident occurred at approximately 8:45 a.m. (UTC/GMT -4 hours).
