Hendrick's Plane Crash Landing -- NASCAR's Owner, Rick Hendrick, and His Wife Sustained Minor Injuries Plane's Crash Landing at Key West, Fla.

KEY WEST, Fla.The owner of NASCAR's top team and his wife survived a crash landing which could easily be termed as fatal if luck wouldn’t favor those on board, including pilot and co-pilot.

NASCAR's Owner, Rick Hendrick, and His Wife Sustained Minor Injuries Plane's Crash Landing at Key West, Fla.

Reportedly, a small plane carrying Rick Hendrick and his wife, Linda Hendrick, lost its brakes and crash landed on Monday evening, and the couple suffered trivial injuries, airport officials said.
Peter Horton, county airport director, told that the small jet, Gulfstream 150, stranded off the runway at the Key West International Airport Monday at 7:45 p.m. All four on board were taken to the hospital for immediate medical attention.
Rick and Linda suffered small injuries while the pilot and co-pilot apparently shifted to hospital just for precautionary measures, Horton told further.
Hendricks family had gone through a plane crash tragedy in 2004 in which Hendrick’s son Ricky, his brother and twin nieces were among the 10 killed.
Photographs of the crash show the plane was mostly unbroken and with its nose lying on the ground about 20 feet in front of a chain-linked airport boundary fence.
Apparently the brakes failure led to the accident but the exact and detailed cause of the crash will be investigated by the National Transportation and Safety Board.
