KOBLENZ, Germany - The 48-year-old, Detlef S., the "German Fritzl" as described by Germany's Bild newspaper, is heavily accused of sexually abusing minors in his custody for about 23 years, and assisting sexual proceeds with minors.
Reportedly, Detlef S. on Tuesday confessed being a father of at least seven children with his stepdaughter as his case started on charges he abused her, his daughter and his stepson for more than 20 years and also compelled the two girls into prostitution.
Detlef S. is also charged with compelling his daughter and stepdaughter to have sex with other persons for cash. Two of those persons will face trials separately.
His trial will restart Wednesday, and a judgement could be finalized as early as the end of February.
If found guilty, he may be sentenced jail for 15 years.
