ISLAMABAD - According to Duniya News; Hillary Clinton, US Secretary of State, called on Prime Minister of Pakistan Syed Yousuf Raza Gilani and discussed again the Raymond Davis subject. In response, Prime Minister has reportedly said that Raymond’s case will be settled through court of law.
It was reported that in a telephonic discussion, both representatives discussed about various issues, in context of Raymond Davis problem, including underpinning and broadening Pak-America relations.
Hillary Clinton said that US gives significance to the relations with Pakistan and wants to reinforce these ties. In this telephonic conversation, Hillary Clinton once again raised the question of Raymond Davis’ discharge and providing him with Diplomatic immunity. However PM Gilani evidently declared that Raymond’s case will be decided by the court. Whatever decision is taken up by courts under the law, government will full abide by it, PM added.
