PESHAWAR – Late on Sunday (Feb. 20) a drone attack was reported in the South Wazirsistan; which claimed lives of five militants. The drone plane fired three missiles at the house in Kaza Panga village, 15 kilometres west of Wana in South Waziristan.
According to military sources talking to media; “Five militants were killed in the strike”.
An intelligence source confirmed later on the death toll of six and three other injured in an attack that was aimed on a house allegedly under the use of militants.
The recent drone attack is the first since the arrest of Raymond Davis (a US citizen) who shot and killed two Pakistanis in Lahore on January 27.
