CLEVELAND, Ohio
(Tue, May 01) – An alleged gang of anarchists has been arrested by FBI, which reportedly
plotted to blow up a bridge near Cleveland, Ohio,
using high-powered explosives. The gang also had plans to attack financial
institutions with the help of homeless people.

According to details; the group was came in spotlight when FBI was alerted
by a paid informer about the gang’s plans to target the Brecksville-Northfield
High Level Bridge
on Route 82, which spans the Cuyahoga
River south of Cleveland.
The gang, headed by 26-year-old Douglas Wright, started planning in last October
to target the bank signs in Cleveland
for which they wanted to engage homeless people from shelters to carry out his
plans.
Five members of the gang, including their head Douglas Wright, have been
charged with plan and attempted use of explosive materials to destroy physical
property affecting interstate commerce.
In a statement the FBI revealed that their informer was used to help the
gang obtaining C4 explosives that they would use to target the bridge.
According to the criminal complaint three members were arrested as they reached
to pick up the explosives, while two others detained later on.
