LAHORE - According to Geo News (private news channel) reports; Chief Justice LHC (Lahore High Court), Ijaz Ahmed Chaudhry, has asked for exempting him from the hearing of a case in which release of Raymond Davis has been challenged. (Reported earlier here)
The LHC CJ, Ijaz Ahmed Chaudhry, has raised the point that he has earlier heard the case of Raymond Davis so it’s rational that another bench to be set up for the new case. He has forwarded the case to Iftikhar Chaudhry, Chief Justice of Pakistan (CJP), to decide its maintainability.
