Sarfaraz Shah's Mother Held Rehman Malik Responsible for Murder of Her Son

Sarfaraz Shah's Mother Held Rehman Malik Responsible for Murder of Her Son

KARACHI, Pakistan (June 09) – The mother of the victim of brutal firing by Rangers personnel, held Interior Minister Rehman Malik responsible for his son’s murder.

Reportedly; in her statement on Thursday after the burial of her son, Sarfaraz Shah, urging the Supreme Court to take notice of the incident she said, “Who has allowed the Rangers to open fire on citizens? Rehman Malik has given the shoot at sight order.”

Amidst the criticism from the media and members of Parliament; Rehman Malik said on Thursday that it should not be forgotten that Sarfaraz Shah was a criminal and was trying to rob two women before the incident happened on Wednesday. But the footage of the incident aired on local TV channels told a totally different story.

Manzoor Fatima, mother of deceased 19-year-old Sarfaraz Shah, told that he had recently taken his Matriculation exams and wanted to follow computer science. He was the fourth child, and has four brothers.

According to reports; Sarfaraz Shah’s family belongs to Bagh in Azad Kashmir and his family and friends denied any charges of robbery on him. They also said that if he needed money, Shah would have asked his family.
