ISLAMABAD – In a statement from spokesperson of Foreign Ministry, Tehmina Janjua, Pakistan has demanded an apology and explanation from America over the recent drone attack in Datta Khel (North Waziristan); which killed at least 40 with several other injured.
Yesterday's attack was the seventh such drone attack in nine days and the most deadly one in the region of North Waziristan since August 2008 when the stealthy campaign rose in the areas bordering Afghanistan.
Ms Tehmina Janjua, foreign ministry spokesperson said in a statement, "The government of Pakistan strongly condemns the drone strike which has resulted in a large number of casualties."
