A 25-year-old man was, reportedly, swept by the huge tsunami waves in Del Norte County, California. Sources from US Coast Guard confirmed the death and told that he and his two friends were trying to take photographs of the tsunami waves on the shore when almost 2.4-metre high waves dragged him in to the ocean.
The source further told that there had also been damage of almost six boats in Santa Cruz after the same were collided with each other due to gigantic waves of tsunami.
The tsunami warning prompted huge evacuation from the American coastline; but thankfully the waves couldn’t produce the major damage, as per initial reports.
