Helicopter Crash in Quebec (Canada) Killed Four Belonged to Same Family

MONTREAL, Canada – A helicopter crash killed at least four people, all belonged to same family, late Saturday near Thetford Mines.

According to details; an emergency call was received by rescue team at about 11 p.m. but due to vague information it took almost one and half hour for the rescue team to reach the crashed helicopter in a wooded area along Craig Rd., in St. Ferdinand.

Two of the four on board were killed at the accident spot while other two were taken to hospital in very serious conditions where they couldn’t be survived despite the utmost efforts of doctors.

The four killed are recognized as Yvon Beaudoin, 65, of St. Nicolet; his partner, Marie-Paule Fréchette; his son, Eric Beaudoin, 43; and his granddaughter, Melizandre Beaudoin, 8. 

The initial reports suggest that the helicopter was owned by Yvon Beaudoin; but it is still a mystery that who was piloting the chopper at the time of crash and what made it crash.

Investigators from the Transportation Safety Board also arrived at crash site looking to establish the cause of the accident.
