WTTG-TV reporter Tucker Barnes Covered with Foam and Sewage during Live Reporting on Hurricane Irene (VIDEO)

OCEAN CITY, Maryland - A local TV reporter apparently covered with ocean foam in Ocean City, MD, while he was covering live reports on Hurricane Irene. Reportedly, WTTG-TV reporter Tucker Barnes was on the boardwalk at Ocean City, Maryland, the water began to forcefully spray over the sea wall.

Not only water, but a foam-like stuff covered Barnes and boardwalk nearby. The area was under mandatory evacuation and it is still a mystery that why Barnes put his life in danger.  

He noted that he had immersed himself in organic material. That "organic material" was most likely the effects of raw sewage pouring into the water during the storm.

"It doesn't taste great," he said.

He said it had a sandy consistency and added, "I can tell you first-hand, it doesn't smell great."

The foam is often a toxic mix of pollution and cyanobacteria.
