FAISALABAD – Following the long strikes by young doctors across Punjab, spread over more than four weeks, resulted in 60 dismissals of the doctors (reported earlier here).
Reportedly; after the lapse of 24-hours warning time, the Punjab Health Department has dismissed 60 house officers/post-graduate trainees for taking part in the strikes that disrupted the healthcare services in hospitals across the province. The Health Department has also issued notices to 84 more doctors under PIDA Act.
List of doctors that were dismissed by Punjab Health Department are as follows:
Dr Muhammad Ali Usman and Dr Khurram Habib from Allied Hospital, Faisalabad.
List of doctors that were served notice by Punjab Health Department are as follows:
Dr Muhammad Irfan, Dr Muhammad Arif, Dr Tamseel and Assistant Professor Khurram Sohail Raja from Allied Hospital, Faisalabad.
