FAISALABAD: As the doctors protests is capturing the main cities of Punjab; the doctors in Faisalabad set up camps at roads and said that though the protest will continue till meeting of their demands but hinted at provision of medical facilities to patients.
As per media reports; the strike from doctors’ community in protest against hold-up in salary increase for young doctors has been making patients suffer all across Punjab for quite some days now as people are being treated for their medical problems under camps outside hospitals.
Same situation is observed in Lahore as doctors continued checkups under camps outside hospitals’ premises in Lahore.
The other cities in Punjab where patients suffered from doctors’ strike included Multan, Bahawalpur, Dera Ghazi Khan and almost all cities in south Punjab where government hospital doctors carried on their strike on Monday.
Doctors in Multan set up free medical camps in all government hospitals for outdoor patients.
