MANILA, Philippines — According to Albert Flores, official from fire-fighting department, six bodies were found apparently died of suffocation in a home which was caught by fire in Manila on Monday.
Reportedly, the victims were two medical doctors who owned the house, their daughters, aged 17 and 21, and two more persons who worked for the family.
The cause of the fire is still unknown and being investigated.
Albert Flores further told that the fire broke out before dawn in the ground-floor garage. The bodies found on the second floor of the home suggest that victims were asleep and may have gotten up too late to get away, or more probably metal grills in the windows thwarted them from doing the same.
