PESHAWAR – Breaking News: A suicide blast in the funeral prayer (Namaz-e-Janazah) of the wife of Kala Khan (leader of Aman Lashkar) killed 15 people; while more than 20 were injured, as per the spokesperson of DCO office.
The blast took place in Adey-zai area of Peshawar. Injured are shifted to Lady Reading hospital in Peshawar where emergency has been announced already.
Death toll is expected to rise. Police and security forces have closed the Kohat Road and rescue operations are being carried on; while bomb disposal squad is also trying to confirm the reason of the blast.
According to hospital sources; three of the injured are in critical position.
