LAHORE, Pakistan (Dec. 16) – Aisam-ul-Haq Qureshi, the most prominent tennis star in Pakistan, is going to get marry tomorrow (Saturday, December 17). Aisam-ul-Haq’s marriage is going to be a real traditional wedding according to customs and traditions of Pakistan.
Tonight his family and friends are celebrating in his “Rasm-e-Hina” also commonly known as Mehndi.
Mehndi, or the Rasm-e-Hina ceremony, typically takes place one or two days prior to the main wedding day. The event is traditionally held separately for the bride and the groom, and Hina (Mehndi) is symbolically placed on the couple's hands.
