Czech pair of Andrea Hlavackova and Lucie Hradecka stunned Sania Mirza-Elena Vesnina pair in Frecnh Open Final

PARIS, France - - Indian tennis ace Sania Mirza missed out on winning her second Grand Slam title as she and her Russian partner Elena Vesnina lost the French Open women's doubles final to unseeded Czech pair of Andrea Hlavackova and Lucie Hradecka on Friday.

Sania Mirza lost opportunity to win her second Grand Slam
Hlavackova and Hradecka are the sixth unseeded team to capture a major in three decades and are the second unseeded French Open finalists in 30 years.

Czech duo collect euros 330,000 while Sania and Elena take home euros 165,000. 

The win put the two finalists 1-1 head-to-head. They had previously met once in the first round at Indian Wells with Sania and Elena winning in straight sets.
 
Unforced errors cost the seventh seed Indo-Russian pair dearly as they lost the summit clash 4-6 3-6 in one hour and 21 minutes at Court Suzanne Lenglen here.
