| Tamil Superstar in Singapore for Treatment |
Sources from Tamil film industry revealed that superstar Rajinikanth has been paid the highest amount for the upcoming movie Rana; making him the top paid actor in the India. The Tamil Superstar, sources claim, was paid Rs. 240 million (Rs. 24 crores) as advance even before the commencement of the shooting for Rana.
Few days back rumours gone viral that Rajinikanth is dead; but later on his family sources denied the rumour of his death. Rajinikanth is seriously sick and under treatment in Singapore for his kidney ailment.
Amazingly on one side, Rajini's health is of main concern; and on the other side, the trade is talking about how Rajinikanth has reportedly been paid 24 crores as just his first installment on Rana.
A source says, "Rajini Sir is still India's highest paid actor. Besides the reported 24 cr that he has already received, the family will also have a stake in the IPR because Rajini's second daughter Soundarya is a partner in the project."
