WASHINGTON - According to a media report, Egypt's Vice President Omar Suleiman survived an assassination attempt that took lives of his two body guards.
An Obama administration official said the attack took place after Suleiman, a former spy chief, was appointed vice president Jan 29. The attempt to kill Suleiman took place in recent days, and it was an organised attack on Suleiman's motorcade sources told Fox News Saturday.
