Raymond Davis Case Updates: Foreign Office Defied Any External Pressure

ISLAMABAD - According to the latest reports on Pakistan private TV channels; Raymond Davis is not given any diplomatic status because of his business visa on which he was in Pakistan at the time of incident. The Foreign Office has positively defied any outside pressure over the issue of U.S. citizen Raymond Davis.

Despite of Foreign Office requests and reminders to American embassy in Pakistan; Americans couldn’t produce the valid and satisfactory evidence about the status of their citizen, Raymond Allen Davis, in Pakistan. Visa extension issue of Mr Davis is also still in the dark as what made the interior ministry to extend the Davis’ visa.

On the other hand; Pakistan’s diplomatic staff in America has reported about the increasing pressure from Washington for the discharge of Raymond Davis, whereas the behaviour of American officials is getting bitter and threatening as the time passes away.
