NEW YORK - On this Valentine’s Day inhabitants of New York were excited to have a smartphone application that locates free condoms launched by New York City Health Department, to facilitate people find protection even at the eleventh hour.
With the access to more than one thousand free condom outlets in New York the application is quite a useful tool letting for sufficient time to act before the mood is lost. The over-the-air (OAR) downloadable application use GPS (Ground Positioning System) technology and is available for the iPhone and Android based smartphones.
Health department statistics show that more than 3 million free condoms per month are distributed in New York City. It is expected to rise in this number after this free application
