1,000 Killed by Gaddafi: Italy's FM - - While France Called For Sanctions Against Libya

BENGHAZI, Libya, Feb 23 - According to a statement came from Italy’s Foreign Minister on Wednesday more than 1,000 people have been killed in the Col. Gaddafi’s efforts to crush the revolution against his 40-years regime.

As the nations of the world are facing problems in evacuation of their nationals out of burning Libya; France emerged out as the first one to call for sanctions against Libya.  

French President Nicolas Sarkozy said, "I would like the suspension of economic, commercial and financial relations with Libya until further notice."
