MOSCOW, Russia – A Russian Air Force plane TU-154 RA-85563 took off from Chkalovsky Airport (military airport base 31 km northeast of Moscow) on 29th April 2011; but experienced serious trouble right after take-off.
The pilot of the plane was forced to steer the plane using just engines power; as the automatic control system broke down just after it took-off from the runway.
The captain of the plane, Radionov, used his extraordinary skills to control the plane in the air for and the managed to lad it safely.
The Commander-in-Chief of the Russian Air Force Alexander Zelin will award the pilots for their actions.
