JOPLIN, Missouri – The body 16-months-old boy was found and identified at an area morgue Wednesday evening.
Reportedly, Skyular Logsdon was torn from his mother's arms by the storm on Sunday in Joplin. The incident caught the media attention like the jungle fire; but the searching efforts by the family members of the boy went in vain.
His relatives spent days searching hospitals, shelters and a temporary morgue at Missouri Southern State University. They also dug through remains near the destroyed home, seeking any sign of the boy.
Skyular's body was found at a morgue that his family hadn't previously searched. The little boy's great-uncle made the identification.
