Tsunami Warning Cancelled after 5.7-magnitude Quake Near Fukushima Prefecture, Japan

Tsunami warning after 5.7-magnitude earthquake
TOKYO, May 14 – According to Russian news agency, Itar-Tass; Japna’s national meteorological agency issued tsunami warning after the 5.7-magnitude earthquake that struck northeastern Japan on Saturday. But the tsunami warning was reversed after sometime.

The epicentre of the earthquake was near the coast of the Fukushima prefecture, at a depth of 20 kilometers under the seabed. Earth shivers were felt in 17 of Japan's 47 prefectures, including Tokyo, Itar-Tass stated further.

No immediate reports are available of any damage or casualty.
