Bharti Airtel and Singapore's U2opia Introduces Application to Access Facebook Without Internet Connection or GPRS

Access Facebook now without Internet Connection
A Singapore based software application developer U2opia has developed a software that will allow Facebook users to touch with their beloved social networking website using their mobile phones without any internet connection.

This application works without the GPRS connection via Unstructured Supplementary Data (USSD) which is normally used to send alerts to the mobile phone users about balance used/remaining at the end of a call.

This application is similar to an SMS used to send updates with negligible load on the network, revealed by the sources in U2opia.  A user can receive alerts, post updates and know activities around with this application, the source further added.

U2opia has collaborated with the Bharti Airtel to launch this venture in India. After downloading this software to mobile phone; updating posts is free of cost for Airtel customers but to avail all other features, users have to pay Re.1 everyday which will be deducted from their phone balance.
