SANAA, Yemen - - Nine people were killed and dozens more were injured when security forces in the Capital Sanaa, the industrial centre of Taiz, and the Red Sea port city of Hudaida, Yemeni forces opened fire on the crowds, Al Jazeerah TV reports.
Thousands of protesters had been heading towards the cabinet building in their latest effort to force President Ali Abdullah Saleh from power.
