MADRID, Spain – Just after two week of gloomy incident of death of Belgian cyclist Wouter Weylandt during the third stage of the Giro d'Italia; another shock hit the world of cycling with the accidental death of Spanish Xavier Tondo.
Reportedly, the 32-year-old mountain specialist Xavier Tondo was killed in a freaky and mysterious accident.
According to initial reports by police Tondo was crushed between his car and garage gate when he got out of his car to open the garage gate, but became pinned when his car rolled forward.
Xavier Tondo was preparing for Tour de France 2011.
