Cricketer-turned-politician Imran Khan Not happy with the Rehman Malik Statement about Pakistan Cricket Team

FAISALABAD – Legendary all-rounder and captain of the 1992-wold cup victorious Pakistan team Imran Khan slammed the statement made by Interior Minister Rehman Malik in which he warned Pakistan team to be away from any kind of match-fixing scandal during their crucial World Cup semi-final against India in Mohali.

The cricketer-turned-politician Imran Khan, who heads Tehreek-e-Insaaf party, hit out at the minister’s statement and extracted some fun out of it saying that the Rehman Malik is not very good in English and his comments might have been misinterpreted.

He told that he knows the minister; who doesn’t have good command on English language. So he might have said something else which was interpreted as the warning to Pakistan Team. He said Pakistan team should not even bother such statements.

Earlier, Rehman Malik told media-persons, "I gave a warning that there should be no match-fixing. I am keeping a close watch. If any such thing happens, we are going to take action."
