PARIS – Nuclear crisis in Japan caused by tsunami after the worst ever earthquake is not only affecting the Japanese and their country but the radiation leaking from tsunami-ravaged nuclear power plant mixed into the atmosphere is spreading all over the world.
The radioactive cloud, caused in the aftermath of Japan's earthquake and tsunami, has already passed over the US and the Caribbean on Tuesday and is advancing towards Europe. It is likely to hit Western Europe within two days.
Reportedly, the radioactive cloud originated by explosions at Japan’s Fukushima nuclear plant will pass over the skies of France on Wednesday or Thursday. French Nuclear Safety Authority said that it will not be a danger to health but the statement doesn’t seem to convince everyone there.
Officials are doing their best to calm the public.
